Poolside Sangria
A bright and refreshing drink perfect for enjoying by the pool.
Ingredients

2 lemons

2 limes
-
1 cantaloupe (cut into 1-inch pieces)

3 oz Avua Cachaca

2 bottles of Dry White Wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio)

1/2 cup of sugar, or to taste
Directions
Slice lemons and limes (slice into rings for a stylish presentation) and cut cantaloupe into 1-inch pieces and add to a large pitcher. Add sugar to fruit and allow to macerate for a minimum of 1 hour, overnight in the refrigerator is even better. The sugar will extract citrus oils, juice and flavor from the fruit and create a syrup.
Once all the sugar has dissolved, add wine and Cachaca to the pitcher and stir. Let sit for 30 minutes to allow all ingredients to incorporate.
Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with macerated fruit.
