I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for ICE CREAM!
We’re still in the thick of the summer heat! Cantaloupes love hot, dry conditions and the 100-plus temperatures of Central California where they’re grown are perfect for producing the sweetest, sunniest and safest melons. But the rest of us are looking for some cool relief. And what better way to beat the heat than with ice cream?!
We’ve heard from many of our cantaloupe fans that their favorite way to enjoy this tasty fruit is with ice cream! Luckily we’ve got a whole spread of ways to enjoy this sweet classic dessert.
Our friend Julie Andrews, better known as The Healthy Epicurean created this No Churn Cantaloupe Ice Cream recipe for us just in time to celebrate the end of the summer season!
Cara Harbstreet, @streetsmart.rd, has really inspired us all with her recent share of this Cantaloupe Caramel Sundae on Instagram. Make sure you check that out and save it for future sundae nights.
