Central Valley Whiskey Sour
Cantaloupe adds a subtle sweet note to this smooth and irresistible classic.
Ingredients

2 oz Elijah Craig Bourbon

. 5 oz simple syrup

.75 oz lemon Juice

2-3 1 inch chunks of cantaloupe

1 egg white

Angostura bitters
Directions
In a cocktail shaker add the cantaloupe and muddle.
Next, add all remaining ingredients (except bitters) and “dry shake” with no ice in order to froth the egg white and incorporate all ingredients. This step requires a good bit of vigorous shaking.
Add ice to shaker and shake again in order to chill the beverage.
Pour through a wire mesh strainer (double strain) into a cocktail glass.
Add a few dashes of Angostura bitters to frothy top of the cocktail for an aromatic garnish
