2017: year in review
Two thousand seventeen, what a year!!
Starting on a sweet note, we made it easier than ever to Dig into the Sweet Stuff with a re-invention of the California cantaloupe e-newsletter which delivers – you guessed it – all the California cantaloupe things! This also included a revamped blog where you can now browse all the California cantaloupe things all at once, or you can opt for a concentrated look at recipe inspiration or seek the latest in season updates. This year also saw a makeover of californiacantaloupes.com, wherein the stuff you love the most was given the spotlight it deserves. Can’t forget about the baseball game ticket giveaway – where four winners each won four tickets to take a few of their lucky friends and family members to their pick of a SF Giants home game. California cantaloupes re-invented the salad – or shattered the boundaries of what defines a salad (see: chocolate covered dessert salad). And last but far from least, the long-deserved spotlight was shone on the unsung heroes who year after year provide the best possible product to sweet cantaloupe lovers all over, and you can now meet these folks all in one place.
