Cantaloupe Kabobs with Yogurt and Toppings
This is an easy, healthful dessert that’s a hit for both grown-up and younger palates.
- 1 medium cantaloupe, seeded and cut in half
- 8 oz. vanilla or key lime yogurt
- Assorted toppings: finely chopped nuts, sprinkles, toasted coconut, cookie crumbles, crisped rice cereal, crushed wasabi peas
Cut melon into geometric shapes using a pairing knife or melon baller.
Thread melon shapes on short skewers and arrange on a platter or small bowl.
Place yogurt and toppings in wide, shallow bowls to allow for easy dipping. Encourage guests to dip skewers in yogurt first and then in dry topping of choice.
